2Some groups try to coincide with the school year. They start in August, meet once a month and end in May. They take the summer off in June and July. Others start in September, meet once a month and end in May also.( They do this by having a “double” in December with each member bringing $20. Two names are drawn for the two envelopes of $100. So, in January there are two giving testimonies.) You can start your group in the middle of spring, summer, fall or winter. Any time is the right time. 3Ten for Him groups are EASILY incorporated into groups that already exist. If you love your Bible Study, Exercise Group, Golf team, Book Club, etc., consider asking the group if they would be interested in adding the Ten for Him experience to the beginning or ending of the group meeting. 4Start on time and finish as close to time as possible.
5Be sensitive to other members. Some members may come from church backgrounds where they do not pray out loud in public.
It has been observed that after the second year, some groups get a little stagnant. Please consider switching things up a bit and starting a new group, dividing the primary group in two and adding new members or something similar. An influx of new Ten for Him members at this point keeps the group fun and energized. 6Follow the basic guidelines and have fun.

DO NOT give the name and or any personal information out about who you gave the money to. For example, if you are posting on facebook about your Ten for Him experience, you could say something like, “I am involved with a group called Ten for Him. This month I had the money. God showed me exactly what to do. I gave the money, in the form of a Walmart gift card, to a young man who had just been evicted from his apartment and was living in his car. He was elated.” 8If you live in a small town, and everyone would know who the young man was who was living in his car (as in #7 above), you might want to be a little MORE general, and say, ” I got to give money today in the name of Jesus, and it was a blast! ” 9Stay connected with the rest of your Ten for Him family through the Ten for Him Facebook pages and twitter.
